Recently, LandGlass received the No.2377 Final Administrative Judgment (2013) issued by Beijing Higher People’s Court and the final adjudication reads: “Dismiss the appeal and affirm the original judgment”. This is Beijing Higher People’s Court’s response to the appellant, Glaston Services Ltd.Oy (hereinafter referred to Glaston ), who appealed against the No.1865 Administrative Judgment issued by Beijing First Intermediate People’s Court about the patent invalidation dispute.
On February 27th, 2013, the National Patent Reexamination Board issued No.20084 Resolution on the examination of the request for invalidation, declaring the No.9510478.7 Patent claimed by Glaston as “void in whole”. On September 18th, 2013, the No.1865 Administrative Judgment issued by Beijing First Intermediate People’s Court affirmed the No.20084 Resolution on the examination of the request for invalidation, in terms of Glaston’s appeal against the decision of the National Patent Reexamination Board.
