On March 7th, a discussion meeting on the group standard for vacuum insulated glass was successfully held in Luoyang, hosted by the China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association and organized by Luoyang LandGlass Technology Co., Ltd. The meeting brought together more than 30 participants, including leaders and experts from the Association, as well as representatives from enterprises, all coming together to deliberate on the formulation of the group standard.
Zhang Baiheng, the President of the China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association and Director of the Association's Standardization Technical Committee, together with Li Hui, the Assistant to the President and Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Committee, and Zhao Yan, Chairman of Luoyang LandGlass Technology Co., Ltd., and Deputy Director of the Vacuum Insulated Glass Professional Committee, graced the meeting with their presence and insights. The assembly facilitated a platform for experts and enterprise representatives to utilize their expertise in conducting detailed discussions and critiques on the standard’s aspects, including its nomenclature, scope, definitions, technical requisites, and testing methodologies. Discussions were thorough, meticulous, and in-depth, covering the application examples of vacuum glass and potential issues under different technical conditions. The key content of the vacuum insulated glass group standard was determined through consensus, leading to further optimization suggestions for the draft standard. After the discussions, attendees were invited to visit LandGlass's manufacturing base for intelligent glass tempering machine, providing an opportunity for further research and observation.
