With a view to implementing the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference and the work program aimed to resolve the existing problems and root the causes in the plate glass industry, guiding and promoting the healthy development of plate glass conglomerates, increasing industrial concentration, focusing on tackling the prominent problems of the plate glass industry such as disorderly development, cut-throat competition and inferior business performance, accelerating the restructuring of the glass industry and optimizing resource allocation, the China Building Materials Federation and the China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association have jointly launched an evaluation of "key plate glass conglomerates for support", deciding to make public the selected conglomerates to the industry and the society, recommend them to relevant state departments and financial institutions, and support them in proper ways.
