“The First China Processed Glass Industry Leading Entrepreneur Summit” was convened in Chengdu on Oct. 15, 2013, which was sponsored by China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association and organized by Chengdu Guibao Science & Technology Co., Ltd. It was meant to maintain the continuous and healthy development of processed glass industry, follow the national fundamental policy of macro-control, economic upgrading and transformation, and industry structure adjustment, study and settle the highlighted significant problems emerging along with industry development, and make full use of the wisdoms and abilities of leading entrepreneurs of processed glass industry.
The following personnel were present at the summit: China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association Standing Vice President and Secretary General Zhang Baiheng, Deputy Secretary General Li Hui, chairmen or managers of the top 30 China processed glass enterprises, and the chairmen of Safety Glass and Hollow Glass Specialized Committee of Glass Association.
Ideological confrontations and lively discussions around topics such as the following were involved: “Effects of the development related to fields such as current international and domestic politics, economic, and technology on the glass processing industry and solutions thereof”; "Practical problems of processed glass enterprise management and operation and solutions; hot issues of industry upgrading and technical innovation”; "Tentative plan and typical case for strengthening industry self- regulation and industry construction as well as enhancing acknowledge and loyalty of users for a process glass ‘brand’”.
The summit will be once per year in future and will be sponsored and organized by the top 30 processed glass enterprises in turn.
