Recently, the establishment meeting of Specialized Committee for Vacuum Glass of China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association was held in Qingdao. On the meeting, the standing units and members of the Specialized Committee for Vacuum Glass were selected, with Li Hui, the Deputy Secretary General of China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association as the Chairman of the Committee.
Zhang Baiheng, Senior Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association and more than 50 representatives from vacuum glass manufacturers, scientific research institutions, testing organizations, and manufacturers of related materials and equipment attended the establishment meeting of the Specialized Committee for Vacuum Glass.
The committee was set up for better boosting the healthy development of vacuum glass industry, strengthening the standardization construction of vacuum glass industry, and maintaining the overall benefit of the industry. Globally, Asia is taking the lead in the industrialization of vacuum glass, and China has achieved even more remarkable results. The establishment of the Specialized Committee will be greatly significant for China to maintain the leading superiority in the aspects of vacuum glass industrialization and application, as well as to take the strategic commanding point in the development of the world’s vacuum glass industry.
The establishment of the Specialized Committee for Vacuum Glass has shown the direction for the future development of vacuum glass industry. With the guidance and standardization of China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association for the industry, it will inevitably have important and far-reaching influence upon maintaining the overall benefit of the vacuum glass industry chain, improving the quality and technical level of vacuum glass, and promoting the healthy development of China’s glass industry.
