- With the development of the glass industry, the B type bending and tempering furnace, which was originally made for tempering small size glasses, was continuously redesigned to fit bigger glass sizes for the architectural glass market. After that, LandGlass introduced the AB Flat & Bent Bi-Direction Glass Tempering Furnace. This type of furnace has both a bent and a flat tempering section at the two ends of the heating furnace. It can temper flat or bent glass by loading the glass from different direction. Equipped with JetConvection heating technology, it can bend and temper off-line and online low-e and other highly demanding glasses..
JetConvection PlusTM Convection heating plays an important role during glass heating. Air is heated in the JetConvection chamber inside the heating furnace and is blown onto the glass surfaces. Air is then recirculated and recirculated by the convection blowers into the JetConvection chamber. LandGlass JetConvection technology enhances the quality of the final product and increases productivity by ensuring an even heating, while minimizing production costs.
LD-AB JetConvection PlusTM Flat & Bent Bi-Directional Glass Tempering Furnace adopts JetConvection PlusTM Heating Technology. It is equipped with a flat and a bent quenching section at each side of the heating furnace. By loading glasses in different directions, the tempering line can either temper flat glass or bent glass. Glass that can be tempered includes: on-line and off-line Low-E (E≥0.01) glass, extra ultra clear glass, screen printed glass, pattern glass, tinted glass, clear glass, etc. - 1. It is equipped with a flat and a bent quenching section at each side of the heating furnace. By loading glasses in different directions, the tempering line can either temper flat glass or bent glass.
2. Hard-shaft bending roller technology bends glass lengthwise.
3. The bending system consists of many bending mechanisms, each of which can camber by itself, and also can be slightly adjusted separately, therefore providing a higher accuracy curvature.
4. The bending system is controlled by German Servo Control System, which ensures good repeatability and consistency.
5. Equipped with JetConvection Plus heating system, it can temper on-line and off-line Low-E (E≥0.01) glass, extra ultra clear glass, screen printed glass, pattern glass, tinted glass, clear glass, etc.
Productivity of bent glass is calculated on 5mm clear glass and 5mm Low-E glass (E=0.08) with 65% loadage. Actual productivity is subject to glass types, sizes and loadage.
