Most of the spontaneous breaking of the tempered glass happens due to the nickel sulfide stones in the glass sheet. Through homogeneity treatment of the tempered glass, the probability of spontaneous explosion of tempered glass during use can be reduced.
The homogenizing furnace equipped with convective heating shall be selected to do the homogeneity treatment in order that each glass can be heated evenly with air circulation and that the airflow will not be blocked even if the glass breaks. The airflow in the furnace should be parallel to the surface of the glass and the inlet and outlet of the air should be designed delicately to avoid the possible blockage caused by the glass cullet. Besides, the glass should better be placed vertically and not fully fixed to ensure the free expansion of the glass. Meanwhile, each glass should be separated in a way that will not influence the airflow. The spacer should not block the airflow, and the recommended space between the glass is 20mm.
Besides, we could also specially purchase the quality float glass sheets or remove the glass sheets with nickel sulfide particle to avoid the spontaneous explosion.
